Kingaroy Police conducted a series of raids last week which have resulted in a number of people being charged with drug offences.

Officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Duane Frank said police executed a search warrant at Gladys Street, Kingaroy, on Thursday.

Police allegedly found an amount of methylamphetamine, pseudoephedrine, drug utensils and several thousand dollars in cash.

An 18-year-old woman has been charged with a number of drug offences and bailed to re-appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court at a later date.

In a separate matter, a man has been summonsed to appear in court after a police search allegedly located a small amount of cannabis at a Glendon Street address.

On Friday, police executed a search warrant at a River Road house and allegedly located a quantity of cannabis and drug utensils. Two 17-year-old men, a 16-year-old male youth and a 59-year-old man have been charged with possessing drugs and drug utensils.

A 16-year-old male youth has been dealt with under the Youth Justices Act after he broke into a vacant house in Toomey Street, Kingaroy, on Friday and wrote graffiti on the walls.

He was charged with wilful damage and break-and-enter.
