St Philip’s Anglican Church at Yarraman will be marking its Centenary with a special celebration next Sunday (October 20).

Parishioners, former parishioners and all Yarraman residents have been invited to attend a service from 8:00am to be followed by a champagne breakfast.

Bishop Rob Nolan, from the Western Region, will lead the celebration at the church in Millar Street.

The building was dedicated on October 12, 1913.

“This is a great opportunity to invite your friends to church,” parish priest-in-charge Rev Avriel Green said.

“For over 100 years the Anglican Church has been an important part of the town of Yarraman.

“Please join us to celebrate this important occasion.”
