The South Burnett Regional Council has been forced to close the Stuart River Bridge on the Proston-Boondooma Road.
Main Roads advised Council this evening there is a structural problem with the bridge and it must be closed immediately.
RoadTek will be working on the bridge tomorrow.
Council will release more information when it becomes available.
