The South Burnett Regional Council has set a new date for the region’s annual “Clean Up Australia Day”.
The new day is Sunday, April 7.
The original date, March 3, had to be cancelled because of the weather.
The postponement was to ensure the safety of volunteers.
Council plans to focus on assisting the clean-up of farms and other areas which have suffered significant damage due to the recent floods.
