Cr Dalton also presented the five Year 7 students at the school with special shirts to mark their last year of primary school.

She congratulated the students selected to be the school’s leaders for 2013 but told them to always keep in the back of their minds the school’s motto, “Make Wooroolin Proud”.

The school assembly also thanked the Tarong Community Partnership Fund for their assistance in supporting the construction of a new sandpit, shade sail and hobby hut at the school.

Principal Carol Price presented a certificate of appreciation  to Stanwell representatives Nicole Connolly and John Carey.
