The car driven by an elderly driver crashed through the glass about 8:30am

Fortunately no one was hurt when a car came crashing through the front window of the Foodworks supermarket in Nanango this morning.

Store manager Marnie Ringe said the elderly male driver apparently mistook the accelerator for the brake before the car came crashing in about 8:30am.

“We now have a new drive-thru,” she joked.

Marnie said it was lucky that no one was selling raffle tickets at the time.

“Normally we would have some ladies sitting there selling tickets, but there was no one there today,” she said.
