Ergon Energy has reported that a black swan flew into high-voltage powerlines at Brooklands on Saturday morning, causing a power supply interruption to about 600 customers between Nanango and Maidenwell.
The incident occurred on Darley Estate Road about 8:45am.
Power was restored to 400 customers in the southern part of the affected area between 11:00am and 11:30am by supplying them from another feeder line.
Repairs were completed and power reinstated to customers at the Nanango end shortly after 2:00pm.
