Did you notice the weird, yellow sky late on Thursday afternoon when the latest round of storms came through the region?
It promised hail … and yes, hail did fall in some places, including Kingaroy Heights, Kumbia and Nanango.
Reader Keren Mcsweeney sent us this photo of the hail which fell at her home at South Nanango.
The storm lasted for about 10 minutes and fortunately the hail was only about the size of big grapes.
About 18mm of rain also fell.
