Police have arrested two men suspected of holding up a Nanango store at knife-point about 10:30am this morning.

The pair entered Family Affair Antiques and Saddlery on the corner of Drayton Street and asked to see an “old-timer” knife in the display cabinet. They then allegedly used the knife to threaten the female shopkeeper and demand cash.

When they were unsuccessful in getting money from the till they fled the store on foot.

UPDATE 3:05pm

A 23-year-old Caboolture man and a 17-year-old youth from Caboolture South have been charged with armed robbery and are scheduled to appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court.

Police allege the men stole several items from a Nanango store which they had in their possession when police located them in nearby bushland.
