Nanango’s annual medieval celebration – which originally had been due to be held this weekend – has been cancelled.

The new organisers, Creative Connections, announced on Facebook on August 11 the difficult decision had been made, but the event was planned to go ahead next year.

“Regrettably Medieval Mayhem and the Feast have been cancelled,” the Facebook post read.

“There was a lack of response from stall holders and participants so the difficult decision was made today.

“Both will definitely be on next year and, to be sure, planning will start next week.

“If you want to be a part of the planning team please drop in or give us a call on 0423-830-224. We will welcome your comments and input.”

This year would have been the event’s fifth outing in Nanango.
