South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Friday Night Live - Murgon
The South Burnett PCYC in Macalister Street, Murgon will be holding their latest "Friday Night Live" from 6:00pm to 9:00pm this evening. Friday Night Live is open to all primary school and high school students and the get-together features music and a range of fun activities that may include any or all of the following: a jumping castle, crazy hair, ten pin bowling, dodge ball, basketball, cricket, pool tables, Xbox games, karaoke, stadium games, face painting, noodle wars, art, sport and much more. Food and soft drinks are available from the PCYC canteen and free bus travel is available from Goomeri and Wondai. Admission is just $5 per head for PCYC members and $7 for non-members. World Day Of Prayer - Kingaroy
St John's Lutheran Church in Youngman Street, Kingaroy, is hosting a World Day Of Prayer service from 10:00am today. The interdenominational event will involve representatives from six local churches as well as students from Kingaroy State High School, St Mary's Catholic College and St John's Lutheran School. The theme for this year's World Day Of Prayer is "Do You Know What I Have Done To You?" and everyone is welcome. More details? Phone (07) 4162-3547. Meanwhile - in Nanango - Our Lady Help Of Christians Catholic Church will be hosting a similar service at 10:00am. Blue Light Skating - Nanango

The Kingaroy Golf Club on the Bunya Highway at Kingaroy will holding their regular Friday 9-ers 9 hole social golfing sessions for men and women from 8:00am until dusk today. Everyone is most welcome (including non-members) and green fees are $11 for members or $14 for non-members for the nine holes - but this also includes a card draw for prizes in the clubhouse in the evening (there's also a Jackpot card draw on the last Friday of each month). South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 11:00am to 1:00pm today at 22 Stolzenberg Road in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $35 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items).
