South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Easter Races - Nanango
The Nanango Race Club will be holding its annual Easter Race Meeting at Lee Park Racecourse, off the D'Aguilar Highway today. The fashion theme is "open". Gates and the bar will open at noon with Race 1 to jump at 1:15pm. Free buses will be running to the races but bookings are essential! Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for pensioners (under 18s are free). Free buses will be running for Nanango and Kingaroy (pre-book seats online). There'll be free activities for the children and musical entertainment from local singer Natalie Fenton after the last race until late. Tickets can be booked online. Everyone is welcome! NB. There's no ATM on the course.
Ringsfield House Open Day - Nanango
Historic Ringsfield House, 41-45 Alfred Street, Nanango, is hosting an Open Day today! Local artists will be featured in the art gallery from 9:00am to noon, plus tea and scones will be available on the verandah for $12.00 per person from 9:00am to 11:00am. (As a bonus, visitors can also pop on down to the Energy Museum in Henry Street where the historic Nanango Butter Factory diesel motor will be fired up this morning or drop in to inspect the former Masonic Lodge in Gipps Street which will also be open for inspection!)
Nanango Country Markets
The Nanango Show Society will be holding their regular monthly Country Markets at the Nanango Showgrounds in Cairns Street from 6:00am to 11:30am today. As usual, the markets will feature a wide variety of craft stalls, new and used goods, plants, poultry and pets. The Nanango Markets are the largest rural market in south east Queensland and attract up to 420 stallholders. But new stallholders are always very welcome too! More info? Go Getta Girls - Kingaroy

Cheap As Chips Night - Kumbia
The Kumbia Hall Committee will be celebrating Easter at their Cheap As Chips night at Kumbia Hall in Bell Street from 6:00pm this evening. As well as a two-course meal, there'll be trivia, raffles, a lucky door prize and a licensed bar.
