SBRC Community Catch-Up - Kingaroy
South Burnett Regional Council is holding community catch-ups around the region to review the Community Plans and gather any changing community aspirations. South Burnett Emergency Services Morning - Murgon
- Sunwater are bringing their special "Bundy to Gundy" roadshow to Murgon today. The free emergency services day will be held from 9:00am to 1:00pm in QEII Park in Lamb Street. This is an opportunity to chat with representatives from Sunwater, the South Burnett Regional Council and Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire Council. Find out how dams work and how to prepare for the wet season! There'll be interactive displays, emergency services equipment and other activities.
Communi-TEA at Graham House - Murgon
Graham House will be running another of its morning teas from 10:00am today at Graham House, 21 Taylor Street East, Murgon. Nanango Jammers
- A jam session for local musicians will be held from 1:30pm today at the Nanango Uniting Church Hall at 44 Gipps Street, Nanango. BYO instrument and make some music! Country, rock, folk, Gospel, poetry and joke telling are all welcome. Entry is free but a small donation would be appreciated to cover costs. Wednesday Night Poker - Kingaroy

Wednesday Library Day - Maidenwell
- The volunteers from the Maidenwell QCWA will be supervising the regular weekly Wednesday Library Day (featuring books loaned from Kingaroy Library) from 9:00am to noon this afternoon. A library day is held in the Maidenwell Hall in Pool Street every Wednesday and Saturday.
Genealogy Group - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Genealogical and Family History Society will be meeting at Kingaroy Library in Glendon Street, Kingaroy from 9:00am to noon this morning to provide free instruction on how to research your family history. Homemakers Swap - Kingaroy
- The inaugural Kingaroy Homemakers Swap will be held from 1:00pm this afternoon at Memorial Park in Kingaroy. Bring along five identical items that you have handmade, homegrown or homebaked and swap them for five different items made by other members. - A free community meal - dine-in or takeaway - is available every Wednesday night from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at The Salvation Army Hall, 109 Kingaroy St, Kingaroy. The Community Serving Community Meals Project is co-ordinated by the South Burnett Support Alliance and relies on volunteers from the local community.

Alcoholics Anonymous - Nanango
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. AA meets in Nanango every Wednesday morning from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Catholic Church hall at the corner of Alfred and Gipps street. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low-income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further.
