Goomeri New Year's Eve Family Rodeo
- The Goomeri Show Society and Goomeri Foodworks will be holding their annual New Year's Eve Family Rodeo at the Goomeri Showgrounds today and tonight to help ring in the New Year. Gates will open and junior rodeo action will start at 8:00am; pre-performance events will begin around 2:00pm; and the main rodeo will kick off around 4:30pm and continue into the evening. The event is a full NRA-affiliated Rodeo, so you can be certain of seeing some really top class action. Events on offer include an Open Bull Ride, Saddle and Bareback Broncs, Barrel Racing, Breakway Roping and the popular Poddy Rides for all the junior cowboys and cowgirls. And after the rodeo concludes there'll be an after-party with Mik Oberle until late.
A fully bar and BBQ will be operating all day and night, and there's also camping available on the grounds if you want to stay over after the party winds down. New Year's Eve With RYZA - Kingaroy

Alcoholics Anonymous - Nanango
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
