South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Murgon Bush Christmas
CANCELLED The Murgon Show Society in conjunction with Murgon's Rotary, Lions and Apex clubs, the Murgon Business & Development Association and the Murgon Men's Shed will be hosting a Bush Christmas at Murgon's Showgrounds in Macalister Street from 5:30pm this evening. The event will feature food and market stalls, kids' games, jumping castles, face painting, BBQ, a ham wheel, music and a licensed bar. There'll also be an auction of live, decorated Christmas trees. Entry is free and everyone is welcome.
Murgon To Kingaroy Shopping Bus
Graham House will be running a shopping bus between Murgon and Kingaroy today. The bus will pick up customers from their address at 8:30am and transport them to Kingaroy Shoppingworld (or other destinations if arranged beforehand), then make a return journey about 11:30am. Tickets on the bus are $15 per person return and the bus runs fortnightly on Fridays, but places are limited so a booking is necessary. MISfITZ - Kingaroy
The MISfITZ Trio (ie. Rob and Clare Fitz-Herbert and Jordan Holden) will be performing at the Carrollee Hotel in King Street, Kingaroy from 6:30pm until late tonight. Admission is free and the hotel's kitchen will be open for dinner and snacks. More details from the Carra on (07) 4162-1055.
Karaoke Night - Murgon

Christmas Movie - Wondai

Christmas Craft Morning - Nanango
Nanango QCWA will be holding a craft morning from 9:30am today at the club rooms in Fitzroy Street (opposite IGA). Cost is $7.50 which includes the kit to make a Christmas cutlery holder. But the kits have to be pre-ordered, so phone Trish on 0408-624-116 as soon as possible!
Friday Morning Bingo - Murgon

Friday Night At The Shed
The Shed in Little Drayton Street, Nanango (just next to the Scott Car Park) will be open from 7:00pm until late tonight for local musicians and anyone else who enjoys music to come along, bring their instruments and jam in a relaxed and informal setting, or just sit on the Shed's lounges, listen in and enjoy the wide variety of talent on offer. Friday Social Golf & Dinner - Proston
The Proston Golf Club, on Brigooda Road, Proston, will be holding a Friday afternoon social golf game today. Names need to be in by 2:00pm for a 2:30pm tee-off, and everyone is welcome. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
