Free Movie & Dinner Night - Nanango
Heritage Community Branch Nanango and the Nanango Men's Shed are sponsoring two free screenings of the award-winning movie, "Just A Farmer", in Nanango this week. The movie portrays the challenges and triumphs of life in rural Australia. Today's event will be held from 5:00pm to 9:30pm under the stars at Ringsfield House in Alfred Street, Nanango (if it's wet, the film night will move into the chapel). There'll be a free dinner served beforehand and a Q&A session afterwards with Eddie Sloan from Rural and Remote Mental Health. "Just A Farmer" is rated M (15 ). Seats can be booked online

Bare Foot Bowls - Yarraman
- Yarraman Bowls Club, on the New England Highway, is hosting a family-friendly barefoot bowls afternoon from 4:00pm this afternoon. No equipment is needed (just wear flat-sole shoes). Members will be on hand to share tips and tricks. The bar will be open. $15 green fee includes a hamburger or $5 per person for bowls only.
