SBRC General Meeting - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Regional Council will be holding its monthly General Meeting at the Warren Truss Chambers inside its offices in Glendon Street, Kingaroy from 9:00am this morning. Interested people can view the meeting in person or via a livestream. Jumping Ant Arts - Kingaroy
Members of the Jumping Ant Arts group meet from 9:30am on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of every month at the 1913 Council Chambers in Edward Street (behind the Kingaroy Art Gallery). New members always welcome! Phone Fran on 0488-194-850.
Nanango Jammers
A jam session for local musicians will be held from 1:30pm today at the Nanango Uniting Church Hall at 44 Gipps Street, Nanango. BYO instrument and make some music! Country, rock, folk, Gospel, poetry and joke telling are all welcome. Entry is free but a small donation would be appreciated to cover costs. Nanango To Kingaroy Shopping Bus
Graham House will be running a shopping bus between Nanango and Kingaroy today. The bus will pick up customers from their Nanango address at 8:30am and transport them to the Kingaroy Mall (or other destinations if arranged beforehand), then make a return journey to Nanango at around 11:30am. Tickets on the bus are $10 per person return and the bus runs fortnightly on Wednesdays, but places are limited so a booking is necessary. Genealogy Group - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Genealogical and Family History Society will be meeting at Kingaroy Library in Glendon Street, Kingaroy from 9:00am to noon this morning to provide free instruction on how to research your family history. Kingaroy Men's Shed
The Kingaroy Men's Shed will be holding their regular morning meeting at the old Motor Pool building off Geoff Ralph Drive at Kingaroy Airport from 8:00am to 11:00am today. The group meets every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday morning and new members and visitors are always welcome.
Nanango Men's Shed

Free Community Meal - Kingaroy
A free community meal - dine-in or takeaway - is available every Wednesday night from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at The Salvation Army Hall, 109 Kingaroy St, Kingaroy. The Community Serving Community Meals Project is co-ordinated by the South Burnett Support Alliance and relies on volunteers from the local community.
South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low-income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $50 or $35 options to select food and the other items.
