Biggest Morning Tea - Proston
The Proston Over 50’s Club and the Proston Angels Relay For Life team will be holding a Biggest Morning Tea in Blake Street, Proston from 9:00am this morning. There'll be a great morning tea on offer, along with a $1-per-ticket multi-draw raffle.
Biggest Morning Tea - Kingaroy
SBCare in Avoca Street, Kingaroy (opposite Super IGA) will be holding a Biggest Morning Tea from 10:30am this morning as a fundraiser for the Queensland Cancer Council. As part of the event there'll be a Biggest Bake-Off, where entrants can enter their baked goods for $10 and be in the running to win a Kenwood Chef Mixmaster. Fun & Games At The Palace Hotel
Rosie's Fun 4 All and the Palace Hotel in Drayton Street, Nanango will be holding Fun & Games At The Palace from 10:00am this morning aimed at attracting the elderly, disabled and unemployed – or anyone who just wants to have a bit of fun. There'll be lots of laughs with TV game show-like activities and prizes of vouchers, meat trays and vege trays to be won. Cost to attend is $5 with all profits going to local charities. More details? Nanango Scout Club Meeting
The Nanango Scout Club - which meets every Tuesday night during school terms - will be holding its regular weekly meeting at the Scout Den at 40 Henry Street, Nanango (just next to the police station) from 5:30pm to around 7:00pm tonight. The group currently has three sections in operation: Joeys (for children aged 6 to 8 years); Cubs (8-11 years); and Scouts (11-15 years). Tuesday Night Indoor Bowls - Wondai
The Wondai Indoor Bowls Club will be holding its regular Tuesday meeting at the Wondai Town Hall in Mackenzie Street, Wondai at 7:30pm this evening. Three games of 12 ends are played, lasting up to three hours, and playing fees are $3. Danny's Diner - Kingaroy
Danny's Diner - a free community dinner - will be held at the Uniting Church Hall at the corner of Alford and Youngman streets in Kingaroy from 5:30pm to 7:00pm tonight. The dinner is an initiative of the Kingaroy District Ministry Association for the benefit of anyone who's hungry or otherwise doing it tough.
