Heritage Nanango Country Music Muster

The highlight of activities today at the 2024 Heritage Nanango Country Music Muster will be a concert by Australian rockabilly legend Lonnie Lee from 7:00pm tonight. The Muster is being held at the Nanango Showgrounds in Cairns Street, Nanango, from September 11-15. Entrance to tonight's concert is $20. The music will be continuing until Sunday with day passes costing $25 for Friday and Saturday $40 or $30 from after 3:00pm. Sunday is free. Or you can buy a a weekend pass for $60. Camping is available at the Showgrounds and fees range between $8 and $15 per night for unpowered or powered sites - but a booking for any camp site is essential because the Muster usually packs the Showgrounds to capacity. RUOK Community Breakfast - Murgon

The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items).
