Nanango Playfest
- The Nanango Theatre Company will be presenting the last day of their 3-day 2024 Heritage Nanango Playfest at the Nanango Cultural Centre in George Street, Nanango. Tickets for today's sessions are just $10 per head or you can book a season pass for Friday, Saturday and Sunday for just $40. Tickets can be booked online but they'll also be available at the door tonight unless sold out. The winners of this year's Playfest will be announced today about 12:30pm.
Linville Markets
- The Linville Progress Association will be holding their monthly markets in George Street, Linville (down from the Linville Hotel) from 7:00am to around 12:00 noon this morning. The markets feature great BBQ breakfasts and lots of fresh produce, home-made foods, crafts and bric-a-brac and run on the first Sunday of each month. Fathers Day Camp Oven Lunch - Ballogie
- The well-known Bait Layers camp oven cooks will be running a Fathe3rs Day Camp[ Oven Lunch at their Terislea property at 45 Wonga Crescent in Ballogie from 1:30am until late today. Fore $40 per head (adults), $30 for high school students or $20 for primary students, guests can enjoy a camp oven lunch and dessert, tea and coffee, marshmallow toasting over a campfire, outdoor games and "paint Dad" portrait crafts, as well as be in the running for a lucky door prize. There's also on-site camping available nearby if you want to stay over. However, places are limited so an online booking is essential.
Sunday Afternoon Poker - Kingaroy

Burrandowan Campdraft
- The second (and final) day of the annual Burrandowan Campdraft will be held at the Chahpingah Reserve on Burra Burri Road about 60km south-west of Kingaroy from early this morning until around sunset. Today's action will focus on traditional campdrafting events to raise funds for the Burrandowan Picnic Races in May. Kumbia Museum
- The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon.
