Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington has announced the successful applicants in the latest round of her Local Hero Grants which support grassroots organisations and individuals across the Nanango Electorate.

This round’s recipients are:

  • Nanango Lions Club
  • South Burnett Filipino-Australian Caring Group Inc
  • Toogoolawah Tennis Club
  • Wondai Business and District Association

Each round delivers four grants of $250 to assist with community projects, local events, or travel to sporting, cultural, or educational competitions.

“Every round, we see outstanding applications from people who are working hard to make a difference in their communities,” Mrs Frecklington said.

“Round 28 attracted a significant number of applications, and choosing just four recipients was an extremely difficult task.

“These grants are a simple way to recognise that effort and to support the individuals and groups who contribute so much to the Nanango Electorate.”

Round 29 of the Local Hero Grants is now open.
