Queensland Police will co-ordinate an additional search this weekend for missing Sunshine Coast man Jack McLennan.
A spokesperson said the search would involve State Emergency Service volunteers, drones and all-terrain vehicle crews.
Earlier this week, Jack’s mother, Kellie Moody, asked for volunteers to gather at Ficks Crossing at 8:00am on Saturday for a new search.
She said this followed the discovery of “significant items” several kilometres away from where Jack’s shoes were found in October.
Jack went missing from the Ficks Crossing area on the evening of October 4.
The initial official search was scaled back on the weekend of October 19-20.
