COVID-19 forced a macrame-themed Relay For Life fundraiser to be cancelled earlier this year, but the organisers haven’t given up!
They will be trying again in November, and – hopefully – the pandemic won’t be getting in the way again.
The macrame afternoon, hosted by Emily Fiedler, will be held on Sunday, November 8, from 4:00pm to 5:30pm at South Burnett Care in Avoca Street, Kingaroy.
People taking part will not only have the opportunity to raise money for a good cause, they will also learn some new craft skills.
Cost is $75 per ticket which includes all materials as well as light refreshments.
Tickets have to be booked and paid for in advance. RSVP before October 29.
