Both St Mary’s Catholic College in Kingaroy and St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School in Nanango will have new principals at the helm in 2020.
St Mary’s principal Angela Myles will be heading to her home town of Mudgee, in NSW, where she will take up the role of principal at St Matthew’s Catholic School.
Mrs Myles attended St Matthew’s as a child and has a lot of family ties in the Mudgee area.
She took over as principal at St Mary’s in January 2016.
St Patrick’s principal Matthew Vine is moving to the Gold Coast to be closer to family.
Mr Vine has been principal of St Patrick’s for the past 12 years.
Brisbane Catholic Education will be advertising both positions.
