The Little Peanuts Early Learning Centre in Kingaroy will receive $68,522 through the Federal Government’s Community Child Care Fund, Member for Maranoa David Littleproud announced on Wednesday.
The Community Child Care Fund (CCCF) aims to tackle challenges that reduce child care participation.
“This funding will help Little Peanuts Early Learning Centre work with families and local organisations to address child care participation rates and ensure families can access child care services,” Mr Littleproud said.
“CCCF grants provide a win-win situation for our kids, their families and childcare service providers.
“This investment supports (rural) providers to overcome some of the unique challenges child care services in the city don’t face – such as attracting and retaining qualified staff.”
