Community organisations can apply for funding of up to $35,000 under the latest round of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund which is now open.
Attorney-General Yvette D’Ath urged community groups with not-for-profit objectives to apply for the grants.
“This funding allows our vital community groups to purchase much-needed equipment, upgrade their facilities, host a local event or workshop, and continue delivering important services to diverse sectors across Queensland,” Mrs D’Ath said.
Eligible organisations can submit applications through an online grants portal
There are now five GCBF funding rounds each year, with grants from $500 to $35,000 on offer.
Eligible organisations have until midnight on August 31 to submit an application.
