The Burnett Inland Small Business Roadshow will be bringing a range of business-themed displays to the South Burnett on Tuesday.

The free Roadshow is being supported by the Burnett Inland Economic Development Organisation (BIEDO), Business South Burnett (South Burnett Regional Council), Gympie Regional Council, Regional Development Australia Wide Bay Burnett (RDA WBB) and the State Government.

“The Roadshow is a collaborative effort between a range of agencies keen to engage with the Burnett inland business community,” BIEDO CEO Kristy Frahm said.

It began its tour of the Burnett region in Monto on Monday.

On Tuesday,  morning it will roll into Gayndah Town Hall from 6:30am.

In the South Burnett it will be at:

  • Goomeri – Tuesday (February 26) from 5:30pm at the Goomeri Hall of Memory
  • Wondai – Wednesday (February 27) from 6:30am at the Wondai Town Hall
  • Blackbutt – Wednesday (February 27) from 5:30pm at Blackbutt Memorial Hall

Kristy said it was a great opportunity for businesses to have face-to-face contact with representatives from Council, AusIndustry, RDA WBB, Bundaberg Business Enterprise Centre, NBNco, Department of Employment, Small Business and Training (DESBT), Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA), Advance Queensland and the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF).

Local small business owners will also be sharing their stories during the two-hour sessions.

“The events are completely free of charge to attend, however we would appreciate RSVPs for catering purposes as there will be light refreshments provided,” Kristy said.
