IOR Petroleum has lodged a development application with the South Burnett Regional Council to build an unmanned truck refuelling facility in the Kingaroy Industrial Estate.
The proposed service station would be located at 2-6 Stolzenberg Road, adjacent to Kingaroy-Cooyar Road.
It would have two entry / exit points along Stolzenberg Road.
The public notification period for the proposal began on June 15 and the closing date for submissions is Tuesday, July 10.
Signs have been erected on the land.
The site would allow for the refuelling of B-double trucks and would include a 70kl above-ground diesel tank and an 8kl Ad-Blue tank (a diesel additive).
