Two new Directors have joined the Board of Stanwell, the government-owned corporation which owns the Tarong and Tarong North power stations and Meandu Mine.

Allison Warburton is a Director/Partner with law firm Minter Ellison and has experience in traditional and renewable energy, and climate change law.

Ms Warburton is also a private and government sector adviser in the energy, resources and power generation industries.

Adam Aspinall is a mechanical engineer who has electricity and energy industry expertise.

Mr Aspinall is principal for global consulting firm Advisian and has served on the Board of Ergon Energy and as chairman of SPARQ Solutions.

The new appointments will begin this month and expire in September 2019.
