When young Chloe Blinco-Kregenbrink ran into some of Queensland’s best rugby league footballers in Brisbane recently, they promised they would get her a State of origin jumper.

And good to their word, Chloe,  6, is now the proud owner of a signed guernsey, presented to her during Disability Action Week.

Chloe has severe nerve damage in her right leg which restricts her movement and requires regular trips to Brisbane to adjust her leg brace.

Her mother Tracey said the footballers had been impressed by her daughter’s bravery.

“All the team was inspired by Chloe’s story,” she said.

“Chloe and her family say thank you to all the people in the  community who respect her disability.

“People with disability just want respect and the same rights as anyone else.

“The South Burnett community should be proud of Chloe and her ability to overcome adversity. She is a determined, happy and kind young lady. ”
