The annual RU OK? Day is being marked in the South Burnett on Thursday (September 10) with two free events.
From 7:00am to 9:00am, a free community breakfast will be held outside Member for Nanango’s Electorate Office in Alford Street, Kingaroy (opposite Kingaroy Shoppingworld).
CROW-FM will be broadcasting live on the footpath.
In Nanango, a free barbecue will run from 7:00am to 9:00am in the car park of the IGA Supermarket in Fitzroy Street.
RU OK? is a national initiative which aims to encourage people – at any time of the year – to ask the simple question, ‘Are you okay?’ … and perhaps save a life.
