Family and friends who visit the South Burnett between now and October 30 can win a $4000 holiday by downloading an app onto their iPhone or Android and visiting three participating businesses

The South Burnett Regional Council is encouraging residents to give family and friends who live outside the region the chance to win a $4000, 10 night Regional Trail holiday if they visit the area before October 30.

The holiday is being supplied by the Wide Bay-Burnett Regional Organisation of Councils (WBBROC) which represents the South Burnett, Cherbourg, Gympie, North Burnett, Fraser Coast and Bundaberg Regional Councils.

WBBROC has put the holiday promotion together to encourage visitors to explore the Wide Bay-Burnett and go into a draw to win the holiday package when they do so.

To enter the competition, visitors need to download the competition app onto their iPhone or Android, which will then direct them to participating businesses.

Whenever they visit any of these places, they scan a QR code to register their visit.

And once they’ve scanned three QR codes, they can submit their entry in the competition via the app.

The competition is only open to people whose principal place of residence is outside the Wide-Bay Burnett, and it will run from July 6 to October 30.

Full details about the competition are available on WBBROC’s website.
