The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter flew to the Manar Park motocross park near Boondooma on Saturday evening to help a Brisbane man who was injured after coming off his dirt bike.

The 44-year-old man suffered a leg injury.

The Bundaberg-based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was requested to attend about 6:00pm.

A CareFlight paramedic treated the man’s injuries before he was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital.

He travelled in a stable condition, accompanied by his teenage daughter.

It was the second dirt bike related mission RACQ CareFlight Rescue performed on Saturday.

The Toowoomba-based helicopter airlifted a teenage boy who crashed his bike at a Glamorgan Vale motocross facility in the Lockyer Valley.

He was airlifted to the Mater Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.
