A Blackwater man aged in his 20s has been airlifted from Manar Park motocross track near Proston with leg injuries following a crash this morning.

An RACQ CareFlight spokesman said the man had been riding with friends when he apparently lost control of his bike.

The bike landed on him, injuring one of his legs.

The Bundaberg based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter flew to the scene where its intensive care flight paramedic worked with road ambulance paramedics to treat the man.

He was airlifted to Nambour General Hospital in a stable condition.
