A recent Ford Australia promotion has proven to be a win-win for Huston Ford and St John’s Lutheran School.

Not only did the Kingaroy Ford dealer get the opportunity to show off its latest models to parents, teachers and friends of the school, but the Parent and Friends Association came away $1440 richer for its school laptop fund.

The “Go Further 4UR Community” promotion was held at the Kingaroy dealership last weekend.

Anyone connected with St John’s was invited to drop in and test drive a vehicle.  Ford Australia donated $40 to the P&F Association for everyone who took part.

“I would like to thank the parents, grandparents, teachers and friends who came along and thank Ford Australia for the privilege of being part of the fundraiser,” P&F president Sarah McAdam said.

The cheque was presented this afternoon at the school’s general assembly of students … from left, school captains Lize Potgieter and Oscar Schmidt with principal Helen Folker, Sarah McAdam, Dean Gauld and Ken Goodhew
