Reader Peter Verbakel has submitted some photos taken last night at the J Hunters Road fire at Ballogie.
The State Emergency Service were on site from 6:00pm to 1:00am doing traffic control and also provided firefighters with floodlighting over their incident control base and water resupply facility.
When we’re safely tucked away in our beds at night, we should all spare a thought for all the emergency service personnel who are out and about in all types of conditions to keep us safe!
UPDATE 2:30pm – Four crews remain on site. The fire is contained and more backburning has started.
