The Wide Bay Burnett Regional Organisation of Councils will be hosting a series of free digital marketing workshops in Kingaroy next month.

A WBBROC spokesman said that with more than 80 per cent of Australia’s population now online, the digital economy – driven by consumer demand – was going from strength to strength.

Regional businesses must position themselves effectively online in order to succeed in this new digital era.

The “Grow your Business Online” workshops aim to educate businesses across the region on what a digital marketing strategy is, the key components that make up a digital marketing strategy and then how to apply this to a business.

They will be presented by Daniel Hunjas, Managing Director of digital marketing company Edge Marketing.

Under Daniel’s guidance, businesses will participate in a three-part, hands-on workshop series that will cover website strategies, ranking strategies, digital remarketing techniques and social media all under the umbrella of creating an overall digital marketing strategy.

The workshops will be held at the Kingaroy Town Hall Supper Room:
