TAFE’s Kingaroy Hospitality students have been working hard over the past few weeks preparing bistro lunches for the public at the college’s Taabinga Room Training Restaurant as part of their training.

The students are being guided by local chef Jason Ford and TAFE Hospitality Teacher Sylvia Gibson in all aspects of restaurant functions.

The lunches are open to the public and always prove popular, however bookings are essential.

The current round will run every Wednesday from noon to 2:00pm through to June 20.

The menu consists of a complimentary appetiser, choice between two entrees, mains and desserts.

Main dishes are about $6.50. The Taabinga Room Restaurant is fully licensed but a variety of Mocktails are also available.

The TAFE College appreciates public support for their aspiring chefs. The restaurant atmosphere gives the students valuable hands-on experience as they progress through their studies.

To book, contact the TAFE on (07) 4160-4410.
