The South Burnett’s annual “Pinking Up South Burnett” campaign to support the McGrath Foundation was officially launched on Thursday morning with a generous $10,000 donation.

This is the fourth year that Kingaroy residents Barry and Leanne Krosch have dug deep to support the effort, which is co-ordinated by McGrath nurse Sue Cox, South Burnett Mayor Kathy Duff and Cr Danita Potter.

The campaign, which is supported by the South Burnett Regional Council, encourages groups across the region to hold “Pink Up” fundraising events during October.

Various events have already been scheduled, including at the Blackbutt Memorial Hall this Saturday (October 3), South Burnett Speedway on October 24, Nanango Services Club on October 27
