South Burnett Mayor Brett Otto will be available to meet Blackbutt and district residents from 7:00am to 1:00pm today at the Bunya Nut Cafe in Coulson Street, Blackbutt. The aim of the meetings is to allow residents to raise any local concerns they have about matters the Council may be able to assist with. Appointments are not necessary.

Murgon Services Club Reopens Today
The Murgon Services Club in Lamb Street, Murgon will reopen at noon today under Stage 3 restrictions. Patrons will be able to walk up to the bar and order drinks, order meals from the bistro and the club's gaming room will be open. The aim of the meetings is to allow residents to raise any local concerns they have about matters the Council may be able to assist with. Appointments are not necessary.

Coopers Gap CCC Meeting - Cooranga North
The Coopers Gap Community Consultative Committee will be meeting at Cooranga North Memorial Hall on Niagara Road at Cooranga North from 1:00pm to around 2:30pm this afternoon for an update on the development of AGL's Coopers Gap Wind Farm, and issues related to it. All interested people are welcome to attend as observers. Note: This meeting was originally scheduled for June, but was postponed a month due to COVID-19 restrictions.

South Burnett Regional Council Meeting - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Regional Council will be holding its monthly general meeting at the Glendon Street Council Chambers in Glendon Street, Kingaroy at 9:00am this morning. A highlight of today's meeting will be the release of the Council's 2020-21 Budget, but due to COVID-19 restrictions only Councillors, staff and media can attend this meeting in person. However, the public is welcome to watch a livestream of the proceedings on Council's website.
