New Year's Eve Family Rodeo - Goomeri
- The Goomeri and District Show Society will be holding their popular annual New Year's Eve Family Rodeo at the Goomeri Showgrounds tonight to help ring in the New Year. Gates will open at 12:00 noon; pre-performance events will begin at 1:00pm and the first rodeo events will kick off around 5:00pm and continue right on into the evening. The event is a full bull & bronc NRA-affiliated Rodeo so you can be certain of seeing some really top class rodeo action. Events on offer include an Open Bull Ride, Saddle and Bareback Broncs, Time Event Stock and the must-have Poddy Ride for all the junior cowboys and cowgirls. And after the rodeo concludes there'll be toe-tapping live entertainment until late. A fully licensed bar and BBQ will be operating all day and night, and there's also free unpowered camping sites available on the grounds if you want to stay over after the party winds down at around 1:00am. New Year's Eve With Arthur Nettelfield - Kingaroy
- Kingaroy's Motel Oasis at 50 Walter Road will be holding a special New Year's Eve Party in their Midnight At The Oasis Restaurant from 6:30pm until around 1:00am this evening. It will feature live entertainment by popular South Burnett country rock performer Arthur Nettelfield; a great all-you-can-eat Summer Smorgasboard from 7:00pm to 9:00pm; and accommodation will be available at the motel too for an extra fee if you don't want to drive home. - The Lake Boondooma Caravan and Recreational Park at Lake Boondooma will be holding a New Years Eve celebration this evening for campers spending the holiday season at the park. New Year's Eve Super Hero Party - Wondai
- The Wondai Hotel and Cellar in Haly Street, Wondai will be welcoming in the New Year with a Super Hero Party from 7:00pm until late tonight. The party will be offering a buffet selection of fresh seafoods, traditional roast meats and home style desserts and there'll be live entertainment by Deal'n too. - South Burnett Peace Of Mind will be holding a free New Year's Eve Party at the Lutheran Church Hall in Youngman Street, Kingaroy from 11:30am until after midnight tonight. There'll be bingo, trivia games, board games, raffles, tea and coffee and soft drinks running all afternoon and evening. South Burnett Peace Of Mind assists people suffering from mental illnessses and everyone is welcome - and anyone who'd like to volunteer to assist would also be very welcome too.
