Mayor's Community Chistmas Lunch

South Burnett Mayor Wayne Kratzmann will be hosting a Community Christmas Lunch at the Kingaroy Town Hall in Glendon Street, Kingaroy from 12:15pm today as a fundraiser for the Mayor’s Community Benefit Fund, which gives grants through the course of each year to local non-to-for profit community and sporting groups who might not otherwise receive funding. The lunch will include entertainment and tickets are just $20. Nanango Tourism & Development Association Meeting

The Nanango Tourism & Development Association will be holding its regular third Thursday of the month dinner meeting in the Long Hai Room at the Nanango RSL in Henry Street, Nanango at 5:00pm (meeting starts at 5:30pm). The NaTDA aims to assist, foster, instigate or manage any project that could contribute to the advancement of the communities in and around Nanango and represents the interests of the Nanango community, business and tourism operators. All interested people are very welcome to come along and get involved, and the meeting will be followed by dinner at the RSL's bistro. Community Breakfast - Wondai

A free community breakfast will be held at the Wondai Visitor Information Centre on the Bunya Highway at Wondai between 7:00am and 9:00am this morning to mark almost two years since the 2013 floods swept across the South Burnett. SES crews and emergency services personnel will be on hand to talk about disaster management issues; SBRC Mayor Wayne Kratzmann will also be in attendance to answer questions on any topic at all; and there'll be live entertainment and an outside broadcast by CROW-FM 90.7. Today's breakfast is the second-last in a series of five - the final one will be held at Murgon tomorrow. Everyone is welcome.

Thursday Farmers Markets - Kingaroy

Growing The Burnett will be holding their Mid-Week Markets in Kingaroy today. The markets feature fresh food and crafts produced exclusively in the South Burnett, and are held in O'Neill Square in Haly Street, Kingaroy between 1:00pm and 6:30pm. Thursday Evening Trivia - Nanango
