Blackbutt Christmas Festival Official Opening
- The 14th annual Blackbutt-Benarkin Lions Club Christmas Festival will be officially launched athe Blackbutt Community Hall in Coulson Street, Blackbutt at 6:00pm this evening with a Wine, Cheese and Art Night. Tonight's get-together is being sponsored by the South Burnett Regional Council with wines from Moffatdale Ridge and food by JC Catering, and it will also feature displays of local arts and crafts. This year's Christmas Festival will be launched by Mayor Wayne Kratzmann. Admission is free and everyone is welcome! More details? Kingaroy Touch Grand Finals
- The Grand Finals of the Kingaroy Touch competition will be played this evening at TJ O'Neill Oval in Kingaroy.
At 6:00pm on Field 1, Gardner Gnomes v Gumps; 7:00pm Field 1, Hotshots v St Marys; Field 2, IGA Maroon v Kumbia Hotel;

Nanango Senior Citizens Club Meeting
- The Nanango Senior Citizens Club will be holding their regular first Monday of the month meeting at the Nanango Cultural Centre in George Street, Nanango at 1:00pm this afternoon. However the Centre doors will open at 10:00am so that members can play cards and indoor bowls prior to the meeting, have a cuppa and a chat and generally socialise (BYO lunch). Alcoholics Anonymous - Wondai
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership, and AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
