The South Burnett Regional Council is also currently doing road works in King Street, Kingaroy.

The work, near the intersection of Kent Street, involves excavations, the installation of sub-soil drainage and a new bitumen seal.

The works are expected to be completed by Thursday, December 21, weather permitting.

In order to provide a safe work environment, a lane of King Street has been partially closed near Jumping Beans Community Day Care.

Parking in front of the day care centre will be restricted during the works, but parents who wish to access the centre will still have access to parking just outside the work zone.

All residents within the work zone will have access to their properties at all times.
