The Burnett Inland Economic Development Organisation (BIEDO) is calling for entries into its photograph competition with the best entries to be featured in next year’s BIEDO calendar.

BIEDO CEO Kristy Frahm said the theme for the competition was “Burnett Inland Best Shots”.

“Photos must be from the North Burnett, South Burnett or the former Kilkivan Shire area of Gympie Regional Council,” Kristy said.

“Photos must be in landscape format, not portrait.”

Entries can be submitted (with the location named) in the comments section of the Facebook post about the competition,

“The public will be helping us judge this year – please like your favourite photo!” Kristy said.

The newly formed South Burnett Community Ag Network invites all producers and growers involved in Agriculture in the South Burnett to an open forum meeting.

The forum will be held from 5:30pm on August 2 at the Wondai Memorial Hall.

An RSVP is required to community@biedo.org.au by Monday, July 31.

A Succession Planning Forum with Bill Fletcher from the  Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority – formerly known as QRAA  – will be held on August 22 in the South Burnett.
