A funeral service will be held on Monday at St John’s Lutheran School for long-serving employee Lyle Schmocker.
Mr Schmocker, 62, died on Monday after a long illness.
The funeral service will be held from 10:00am in the school hall, followed by interment in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery at Benair.
Staff plan to form a guard of honour as the funeral procession leaves the school.
Mr Schmocker is survived by his wife Julie, a teacher at the school; three adult children and 10 grandchildren.
He is also brother to well-known Kumbia farmer, Malcolm Schmocker.
