Lightning and ominous-looking clouds only added to the dramatic atmosphere in the Kingaroy Town Hall forecourt on Friday night.

A crowd of masked adults and teenagers, plus thrilling live music from the Kingaroy State High School Stage Band, ensured plenty of excitement ahead of the annual end-of-year concert by the school’s instrumental music students.

The “Masquerade” concert showcased the pieces the students have been practising all year.

After the electrifying entertainment in the Forecourt, the focus of the program moved inside the Town Hall with performances by the KSHS Concert Band, Wind Ensemble and Junior Secondary Band.
