The Queensland Farmers’ Federation has appointed a new interim CEO.
Ruth Wade began her new role on Monday.
Ms Wade’s previous role was as Executive Director of the Ricegrowers’ Association of Australia Inc.
She has a combined 25 years of experience in agricultural and business management, including roles with the Cattlemen’s Union of Australia, Meat & Livestock Australia Ltd and the QRAA.
“Ruth will be working with the QFF Board and members over the coming months to ensure QFF remains the respected collective voice for intensive agricultural industries in Queensland,” QFF president Joanne Grainger said.
“The Board looks forward to working with Ruth and engaging with government to represent the interests of Queensland’s intensive agricultural industries.”
