April 1, 2015

Brisbane-based construction company Bryant (Qld) Pty Ltd has won the right to construct the new Kingaroy Police Station.

The company, which is based in Springwood, submitted a $7.278 million tender as contractor for the new construction work, plus reconstruction on the police station and watchhouse site.

The Department of Public Housing and Works accepted the tender on March 30.

The Department is also currently reviewing tenders for an architect / principal consultant and quantity surveyor for the upgrade of the Nanango Police Station.

Advertisements have also been placed for the refurbishment of the exterior and interior of the Nanango Courthouse.

Tenders for this work opened on March 27 and will close on April 22.

One Response to "$7.2m Tender Accepted
For New Police Station
"

  1. 7.2 MILLION for a new police station. Just what we need. Maybe they could spend more on teachers wages until no one produces anything that actually does anything. They will have plenty of people to arrest then as the pensioners start begging for food. At least that will fill the police station up.
