Mater Mothers’ Hospital should be tickled pink by the efforts of staff members at Nanango’s IGA supermarket.

The supermarket has been promoting the Mater “Little Miracles” Easter appeal for the past few weeks but on Friday the employees decided to give the campaign an extra big push by getting “in the pink”.

The eye-catching campaign was a lot of fun, but it had a serious side, raising much-needed funds for some of the most vulnerable babies and children in Queensland.

Little Miracles” is how the Mater describes the babies and children in its care, including children who need life-saving medical intervention even before they are born.

Did you know that one-in-seven Queenslanders are born at the Mater Mothers’ Hospital? And that includes many children from rural and regional parts of the State.

Nanango IGA has been selling pens, environmentally friendly shopping bags, tokens and “Miracle Max” toy dogs to help raise funds for the Mater Foundation’s Little Miracles Easter Appeal.

As Easter is just around the corner, time is running out to help but donations can also be made at the Mater Foundation’s website
